Free Destourian Party started a petition to withdraw legislators’ confidence from Ghannouchi, who also chairs Ennahda Movement.
The party leader, Abir Moussi, confirmed that her 17-member bloc approved the petition and wished it would get 73 more votes for it to be adopted.
According to TAP Agency, Moussi estimated that the petition is an opportunity to halt all connections with political Islam as it disclosed its true schemes and external connections. She urged her colleagues not to find justifications for Rached Ghannouchi and Ennahda Movement in order not to allow them to get away with their actions.
