Tunisia-Abir Moussi- We are not against the organization of a referendum

In an interview dated September 19, 2021, PDL leader Abir Moussi revealed that her party was not against the organization of a referendum since it has always battled against the political system set up by Ennahdha and its allies.

What bothers, nevertheless, is the subject of this referendum and the announcements made by official sources on a possible halt of the constitution, she added.

Indeed, this will make Kais Saied lose his legitimacy. His enemies will later take the chance to shout “coup” and destroy what remains of the Tunisian state, said the politician.

She evoked that the PDL is for the change of the political regime and the establishment of a new constitution, but this need be done without going beyond the legal framework.
