Tunisia-Ahmed Hachani: First Elements Revealed on his Curriculum

While Ahmed Hachani’s official CV has not yet been disclosed, information is emerging about the new prime minister.

He graduated from the Faculty of Law and Economics of Tunis in 1983, he distinguished himself by being valedictorian three times. His professional experience includes in particular the position of Director General of Human Resources at the Central Bank of Tunisia.

He is the son of Salah Hachani, who was convicted to death and executed for his involvement in a failed coup against President Habib Bourguiba in 1962.

On his LinkedIn account, Ahmed Hachani presents himself as a passionate defender of the secularism of the state, democracy and equal rights between women and men.
