Tunisia-Algeria seizes more than 34 thousand narcotic tablets on border with Tunisia

The Algerian customs services succeeded, following intelligence work, in intercepting a passenger car, driven by a person in his thirties, near the borders with Tunisia.

The search of the auto led to the seizure of 34,790 narcotic tablets which were planned for contraband.

The individual in question was apprehended and taken to court.

The Algerian customs press release does not specify the nationality of the individual, nor the direction taken by the car, from or to Algeria.
