Tunisia-Arrest of two students for hacking bank cards

Agents of the economic and financial research department apprehended two learners from the governorate of Monastir on Thursday. They are implicated in hacking other students’ banks and postcards.

The embezzled money was invested in sports betting sites. They managed to earn more than 50 thousand dinars. The inquiry started when a student filed a complaint regarding the hacking of her bank card and the withdrawal of more than a thousand dinars from her account. The two accused were arrested in Ennasr city (Ariana governorate).

The lead accused confessed that he managed to design bogus electronic pages that correspond to those of student loans and grants. The computers of the two accused, a sum of money and a motorbike were seized, reports a radio.
