The investigating judge of the Tunis Court of First Instance issued this Friday, August 18, 2023, an arrest warrant against former MP Rached Khiari.
According to Mosaïque FM, he is accused of trying to assist a person to escape inspection by a public authority and of exploiting his real or fictitious influence with a public official.
The case involves the period during which Khiari was on the run before being apprehended by a specialized unit of the National Guard in El Aouina.
