Minister of Women, Family, Child and Elderly Affairs and Government spokesperson Asma Shiri said announced a project law aimed at securing the rights and dignity of Housekeerps, including social coverage, work contract and minimum salary.
In a statement to Shems FM, she pointed out that Domestic workers do not enjoy their economic and social rights.
The new law will tighten punishments for those involved in the employment of minors. It will further ensure the development of social security, health care and other laws that guarantee their economic and social rights.
