MP Haykel Mekki said that he was threatened to be eliminated by pages belonging to Ennahda Movement and that operates under the command of the brotherhood leader, in reference to house speaker Rached Ghannouchi
In a statement to Tunisie Numérique, he extended his greetings to the Tunisian people, the Tunisian and the Syrian armies as well as the Libyan army, who had failed the plan of the Turkish Zionist project.
The same source said that these platforms make threats under the command of Ghannouchi, indicating that this attack happened directly after security threats that affected Zouhaier Maghzaoui, Samia Abbou and Sālim Labyaḍ. He affirmed that these attacks happened to politicians who oppose the Islamic party.
He further disclosed that all pieces of evidence is documented and will be presented to the public prosecution.
He held the house speaker accountable for his physical integrity, adding that all known assignations began with threats and intimidation through social media pages managed by the party.
