In a statement to Tunisie Numérique, Tahya Tounes member Mustapha Ben Ahmed declared that the position of the American embassy, which demanded the elaboration of a clear roadmap and the founding of transparent democracy, was anticipated.
Ben Ahmed added that during their visits to Tunisia, US officials communicated their dissatisfaction with what is currently occurring in the country. He further revealed that this position will have a negative impact on the country particularly in a critical situation during which Tunisia really needs international support. He, therefore, called on Tunisian diplomats to respond to find a solution to this crisis.
