Speaking yesterday at plenary session in parliment, Minister of Commerce Kalthoum Ben RJEB reassured citizens regarding the availability of vegetables and fruits during the month of Ramadan and at “reasonable” prices.
She added that the ministry intends to import 2000 tonnes of bananas from Egypt, indicating that the sale price will not surpass 5 DT/Kg while specifying that this measure is part of an approach to diversification of the offering of fruits during the holy month.
