Inaccessible since Wednesday, March 23, 2022, the official website of the Central Bank of Tunisia (BCT) was reactivated on the evening of Sunday, March 27, 2022. “This return is the outcome of the mechanisms set in place to secure information security while operating to strengthen security systems that have proven effective in the face of attempted cyberattacks registered last week,” said a source from the bank quoted by Mosaïque FM.
Technical teams from the Central Bank and the National Computer Security Agency (ANSI), in partnership with Tunisian expertise in the field, are continuing to work to strengthen security systems, the same source said. The same source likewise indicated that vigilance and prevention against such attacks continue in light of the multiplicity of cyberattacks in various regions of the world.
