Speaking to Shems FM, Director of Beja regional hospital confirmed the death of a woman born in 1932 from COVID-19, the deceased suffered from Chronic illness. She was admitted to the COVID unit after she resided in another department.
This is the second reported death in the local hospital in the span of hours after an elderly died yesterday. The death toll stands at six since the beginning of the pandemic.
