Tunisia-Beja: sugar plant will resume its activity next week [video]

Speaking with Tunisie Numérique,the Secretary General of the Regional Labor Union in Beja Abdelhamid Cherif stated that several meetings were organized with the authorities concerned to fix the problem of sugar shortage.

He revealed that the resumption of sugar production in the region is scheduled for next week.

“Beja sugar plant was founded in 1963. Its workers produce nearly 860 tonnes per day with old equipment,” he said calling on the authorities to attach significance to this file.
