Tunisia-Ben Gardane: A Libyan child crosses borders and shoots randomly

A 13-year-old boy from Libya crossed the Tunisian territory abroad an SUV and started shooting randomly at a  guard patrol in Ben Gardane desert, a security source told Tunisie Numérique reporter.

The patrol retaliated by firing back nevertheless, the driver ditched the car and escaped to the Libyan territory. Authorities discovered three phones and Two 16-millimetre calibres in the car. The source said that two Libyans without identification approached the patrol and explained that their little brother used the car and entered the Tunisian soil inadvertently.

After consultation with the public prosecution, Legal proceedings have been initiated against them over the illegal crossing of Tunisian border.
