Tunisia-Ben Guerdane: Seizure of rare artefacts from the Pharaonic era

The agents of the national security sector in Ben Guerdane ( Medenine), managed this Wednesday, November 25, 2020, in arresting an individual implicated of trafficking in archaeological pieces.

When interrogated, he admitted that he is simply an intermediary in the sale of these artefacts and that their owner is from a neighbouring governorate.

Experts from the National Heritage Institute have verified that these are very rare pieces from the Pharaonic era.
