Tunisia-Biography of Youssef Ben Brahim, Minister of Culture

Youssef Ben Brahim was proposed for the post of Minister of Culture during the cabinet reshuffle announced this Saturday, January 16, 2021 by prime minister Hichem Mechichi. Y

Youssef Ben Brahim holds a master’s degree in international law. He specializes in international and comparative protection of intellectual property from the American University in Washington (AU). He has an end of studies diploma, Higher Cycle, from the National School of Administration of Tunis (ENA).

He also held the position of Director of Legal Affairs and Litigation within the Ministry of Culture and then Director-General of the Tunisian Organization for Copyright and Neighboring Rights. He currently holds the post of Chief of Staff to the Minister of Culture.
