The network of health and preventive facilities to combat COVID-19 in the governorate of Bizerte has been strengthened by the fulfilment of the COVID-19 circuit scheme at the local hospital of El Alia for an evaluated cost of more than 100 thousand dinars, the TAP reported.
In a statement to the TAP, chairman of the regional committee to fight against the spread of the virus, governor of Bizerte Mohamed Gouider said that this health unit is a novel asset for the regional and national medical system as part of the battle against COVID-19,
This new space, he added, will have a more prominent position after the crisis of Covid-19, giving the most solid medical services to citizens, since it is a multifunctional project.
The space is provided with a laboratory including a biochemistry automaton, a glucometer and a blood coagulation analyser.
Among the 9 COVID-19 circuits planned in the region, five are ready, those of Bizerte, Menzel Bourguiba, Mateur, Zarzouna and El Alia and four are being finalised in Ras Jebel, Sejnane, Utique and Menzel Jemil.
