Tunisia – Bouasker: The presidential elections will take place on their scheduled date

The president of the ISIE, Farouk Bouasker, addressed the anticipated electoral dates for the upcoming year during the discussion of the authority’s budget for 2024. In response to skepticism about the presidential elections, he stated, “No one from the government or higher authorities has contested the organization of this electoral event, and there has been no talk of abandoning it. We affirm that all periodic elections will take place on their scheduled dates, which will be determined months before their organization.”

He further added, “As a constitutional body, we ensure that all periodic elections will be held on time.”
