Tunisia-Brahmi: Hearings of Ennahdha leaders must be public

Ennahdha Movement member Zaineb Brahmi stated at a press conference on Friday that the party demands that all hearings and interrogations of Ennahdha leaders take place in public and be broadcast. “We do not desire the interrogations to be conducted in closed offices so that the Tunisian people hear the reality and know that the sources are only identity robbers who are treated as a source of information such as bloggers and administrators of Facebook pages,” she said.

“The putschist power did not cease at the dismissal of the honourable judges but tarnished what remains of the judicial authority, by getting information from Facebook”, she added.
