49 deaths and 1411 COVID-19 contamination cases were recorded, on December 8 bringing the overall number of deaths to 3717 and the number of confirmed cases to 106.856 since the outbreak of pandemic announces the Health Ministry.
5039 tests were administered during that period, bringing the overall number of conducted tests to 495.913 since the outbreak of the pandemic. Meanwhile, recoveries stand by 1122 to 81.204.
Currently, 1350 people are hospitalized, of whom 276 are admitted to intensive care in both public and private hospital facilities and 100 put on ventilators, said the same source.
