Tunisia has recorded 1565 coronavirus infections and 35 new deaths from the virus on January 2, the health ministry reported on Sunday night.
Hence, the infection tally has hit 143,544 so far, against 4800 deaths. Meanwhile, recoveries grew by 999 to 107,049.
1587 COVID-19 patients have been hospitalised of whom 342 are in ICU and 125 under ventilators in public and private health facilities.
