Tunisia-Breaking news: 20 corpses of sub-Saharans floats in Kerkennah sea

At least 20 African migrants died when a boat carrying more than 50 people sank off Tunisia, an official said on Tuesday.

The bodies were found off the coast of Sfax on Tuesday, the official said, adding that 53 people had set out on the boat at the weekend aiming to reach Italy.

According to the initial investigations, the boat left the coast of Sfax in the night of June 4 /5 in the direction of the Italian coasts, with 53 migrants aboard.The efforts of the security units and the units of the national navy with the support of the divers continue to recover the rest of the corpses.
