He pointed out that this factor doesn’t refrain from discussing any motions presented by parties or coalition, as it is the case today in addressing  El Karama submitted motion to demand an apology from the French state for crimes committed during and after colonisation.
In a statement to Tunisie Numérique, he stressed that regulating foreign policies is mainly connected to the President of the Republic, the Parliament, from its position has to forward such regulations to the President of the Republic, the Prime Minister, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The before mentioned parties should have communicated their stance in regard to these motions.

Bhiri stated that Tunisia has the right to demand an apology from France just as France requested an apology from Germany, stressing the need to open the archive and unveil the curtain on several crimes such as the assassination of Farhat Hached.

The head of the Ennahda block also made it clear that this list must include several reformations, including taking into account Tunisian-French interests and turning the page of the past.
