An additional 2234 people tested positive for coronavirus after 6455 tests were performed on October 11 and 12, the Health Ministry said on Saturday. This takes total infection numbers to 34,790.
34 more COVID-19 fatalities were reported, bringing the death toll to 512 the Ministry further said.
750 patients are currently hospitalised, including 146 in intensive care and 73 on life support
