Tunisia announced 14 new cases of COVID-19 on June 18, 2020, bringing the total number of infections to 1146, the Ministry of Health said.
In a press release, the Health Ministry said 1279 tests were conducted on June 17, including 15 to observe previous cases.
As such, the number of confirmed cases rose to 1146, out of 64910 screening tests performed since the first cases were identified last March.
The number of recoveries stands at 1014 with 82 patients still virus-carriers and kept in observation. The death toll stands at 50.
