Tunisie Numérique’s local journalist was assaulted and her equipment was vandalised while covering Hamma Hammami electoral campaign in Sousse.

Our correspondent affirmed that two of Hammami followers assaulted her, one of her assaulters deliberately blocked the camera and prevented her from filming, while the second destroyed her mobile phone and smashed the selfie stick and her glasses.

Tunisie Numérique fiercely denounces all sorts of interdiction and attacks on its reporters and will prosecute the assailants.
