Tunisia-Breaking news:Declaration of the health emergency in Tunisia

The government approved, on Thursday afternoon, after a ministerial council, the announcement of the state of a health emergency. This state of emergency permits , in particular, the government to:

• Take all required measures to fight against the spread of the disease
• The establishment of targeted or general lockdown when needed
• Control the residence of people who are carriers of the disease
• Forcing patients not to leave their houses or places of confinement
• Decide on travel restrictions for people and vehicles
• Regulate the many activities and the organization of ceremonies of all sorts
• Decide on economic and social measures accompanying restrictive measures
• Application of fines for non-compliance with the measures decided, up to imprisonment
