Tunisia-British court approves compensation of 45 thousand pounds for Ghannouchi

The UK’s High Court of Justice has ruled in favour of Tunisia politician and co-founder of Ennahda, Rached Ghannouchi in a libel case against Middle East Online (MEO), Ennahdha movement confirmed.The court approved the compensation of 45 thousand pounds in his favour after a defamation article published by MEO on 5 July 2019.

Ghannouhci will be donating the money to the Tunisian red crescent.
