A plenary session will take place today to give confidence to the new ministers introduced by Prime Minister Hichem Mechichi as part of the cabinet reshuffle declared on January 16.
According to article 144 of Parliament’s rules of procedure, the vote of confidence will take place for each of the 11 proposed ministers individually and within the framework of their prescribed mission.
Each of them will necessitate an absolute majority, 109 votes or more, to be in government.
