Tunisia-CAF president Ahmad Ahmad detained by French authorities

According to African weekly Jeune Afrique, the CAF ‘s ” Confederation of African Football ” president Ahmad Ahmad was detained and questioned by the Central Office for the Fight against Corruption and Financial and Tax Offences.

The arrest comes in the aftermath of allegations, whereby the CAF terminated a contract with German equipment manufacturer Puma in favour of Technical Steel.
