Tunisia-Chemtou Museum reopens its gates following 4 years of closure

The Chemtou archaeological museum which has shut its doors following Bardo attack in 2015 has reponed its gate for visitors again.
According to the provincial commissioner for cultural affairs, Walid Messaoudi, the museum will restore the cultural tourism movement in the region and will offer a program of unique cultural activities.
The director of the museum and researcher in archaeology, Mohieddine Chaouali, evoked that the archaeological museum of Chemtou incorporates unique artefacts, including significant pieces of marble.
