Tunisia: Chiheb Ben Ahmed, CEO of CEPEX, sacked

Chiheb Ben Ahmed, Chief Executive Officer of the Center for the Promotion of Exports (CEPEX), has been removed from his post, announced in a press release published this Wednesday, November 17, 2021, by the Ministry of Trade and Export Development.

The press release does not specify the reasons for this dismissal knowing that Chiheb Ben Ahmed had been designated on October 27, 2020.

Before taking up the post of CEO of CEPEX, Chiheb Ben Ahmed was the CEO of the Tunisian National Railway Company (SNCFT) and Minister of Transport in the government of Mehdi Jomâa.
