The Minister of Foreign Affairs Othman Jerandi and the Ambassador of China to Tunisia, Zhang Jiang, on Tuesday, April 6, 2021, inked an agreement of ‘a Chinese donation of 100 million Chinese yuan (equivalent to 40 million dinars).
This donation will enable the funding of projects to be set consequently between the governments of the two nations.
The Chinese ambassador communicated his country’s willingness to assist Tunisia in the face of the development and economic hurdles resulting from the coronavirus pandemic, referring in this regard to the aid and medical supplies that China has given to Tunisia to do so, confronted with the repercussions of this health crisis.
