Tunisia-Cité Ezzouhour: Gas bottle explodes, search underway for the missing under rubble

The Ministry of the Interior announced that a gas bottle had exploded in one of the houses in Cité Ezzouhour, adding that the security units headed on the spot, isolated and secured the scene of the accident.

The Civil Protection Units started rescue operations for those affected by securing the rescue and ambulance teams of the Regional Department of Civil Protection in Tunisia, which was reinforced by the rescue and canine teams of the specialized unit under the civil protection. The tactical support team was also joined to search for missing people under the rubble.
