Tunisia-Clandestine migration: 17 operations foiled in two days

Between August 5 and 6, 2022, Coast Guard units successfully thwarted 17 illegal migration operations, the National Guard revealed in a statement, Saturday, August 6, 2022.

A total of 225 people, including 170 sub-Saharans, were apprehended as part of this intervention. The National Guard likewise indicated that five people were arrested on Friday, August 5, 2022, as they prepared for a clandestine migration operation.
