Tunisia-Classes resume today

Following a 10-day postponement, classes resumed this Monday, January 25, 2021 in schools and universities.

The authorities allowed the reopening of schools, colleges, high schools and universities while upholding strict application of preventive measures and the health protocol.

The resumption of classes arises at a time when the supervisors maintain their open strike, challenging the Ministry of Education of not having applied the minutes approved previously.

As a reminder, the Ministry of Education declared the merger of the 2nd and 3rd trimesters into a single evaluation period from January 04, 2021 till the end of the year.

It was furthermore decided to remove the mid-term vacation (2nd trimester), which should take place from February 4 to 07, 2021. The spring vacation will take place on the scheduled date, from March 15 to 24, 2021
