Tunisia-Closure of Enfidha Airport for an indefinite period

Speaking to Tunisie Numérique, Communication officer at TAV Tunisia, Rim Dhameur announced the closure of Enfidha Airport for an indefinite period.

The official stated that this decision will be elevated when an agreement is reached with the sacked workers who have been protesting inside the airport for about a month.

Dhameur emphasised the lack of channels for dialogue with the striking officers who have intentionally wreaked havoc at the airport and stopped the officers on duty from reaching their workstations, therefore professing a threat to their safety.
