Tunisia-Constitutional crisis: Hassouna Nasfi accuses Nadia Akkache

Leader of the Reform bloc in the parliament Hassouna Nasfi has said that the President of the Republic Kais Saied has begun to violate the provisions of the constitution since Nadia Akkache joined his cabinet. Akkache is the chief designer of the topic of rejection of the constitutional oath and has written an entire article on the subject, Nasfi added.

He also reported on Radio Med that the President of the Republic rejects to resort to the dissolution of parliament because, in the event of dissolution, the current constitution imposes on him specific deadlines following which he must call early legislative elections. However Kais Saied does not want to organize elections before the repeal of the electoral law, he said.
