Tunisia-Mehdi Jelassi : information is held by the Presidency of the Republic

On the sidelines of a discussion organized today on the occasion of International Access to Information Day, the president of the Union of Journalists (SNJT) Mehdi Jelassi reported that the information is held by the presidency of the Republic.

He pointed out that official information has been unavailable since July 25 revealing that this paved the way for rumours at such a critical time. Jelassi, consequently, called on the Presidency of the Republic to develop a clear communication plan and organize periodical meetings with journalists and local media.
