Tunisia-Contamination in schools: Suspension of lessons is the only solution according to Lassaad Yakoubi

In an intervention granted to a private radio station, the secretary-general of the General Federation of Basic Education Lassaad Yakoubi remarked on the epidemiological situation in educational establishments which has declined in recent days.
 
Yakoubi condemned the Ministry of Education’s handling of the crisis, indicating that the authorities should have prepared potential scenarios to curb the spread of Covid-19.
 
“In my opinion, the hiatus of classes is the only solution that will make it possible to curb the virus in educational establishments. Nevertheless, the scientific committee remains the only party empowered to decide this matter ”he said.
