The Regional Director of Health of Monastir, Dr Hammouda Beba, announced on Tuesday, September 29 that 38 new infections with coronavirus have been recorded in the governorate.
The toll, consequently, stands at 1,498 cases of contamination and 16 deaths.
The official also said that 11,986 people have resumed their lives following the end of their period of Quarantine.
