The director of preventive health at Ariana Dr Ridha Bouhali announced on Monday, September 28, 202 that since the borders reopened last June, 559 coronavirus infections have been reported in the governorate, including 524 local and 35 imported.
In a statement to the TAP, the official emphasised that the number of new cases reached 400 people in September.
The same source added that 15 new people tested positive yesterday Monday in the region particularly among teachers and supervisors, stressing that the majority of cases were recorded in Ariana-ville, Soukra and Ennasr.
