Tunisia-COVID-19: 265 more infections, new record

Tunisia reported its highest tally of infections since the start of the pandemic as the Health Ministry announced in a press release that on September 5, 265 more infections by the coronavirus were recorded and 58 cases, already active, have tested positive.
The swabs were taken from 2817 cases, 142 of whom were taken from active carriers.

The ministry indicates that since the reopening of borders on June 27, 3840 cases of coronavirus infection have been confirmed, including 580 imported cases, 3215 domestic (83 %) and 43 deaths (1%).
The same source states that 71 patients are currently hospitalised (2%), 21 (0.65 %) of whom have been admitted to intensive care.
Overall, there are 3196 active carriers (63،4%) and 476 symptomatic patients (15.%).
