Tunisia- Curfew from tomorrow in Grand Sfax and Kerkennah

The Regional Committee for Disaster Interventions and the Organization of Relief in Sfax, which met on Monday at the headquarters of the governorate, authorised the imposition of a curfew in Grand Sfax with its many delegations including that of Kerkennah, as of tomorrow Tuesday and the suspension of Friday prayers in the various mosques.

The governorate of Sfax and the president of the Regional Committee for Disaster Response and Relief Organization, Anis Oueslati, told the media at the end of the meeting, which was closed in the presence of security officials and health, that the decisions to impose a curfew in Grand Sfax and the Kerkennah delegation, whose date will be set this evening as well as the suspension of Friday prayers, were taken because of what has been observed in terms of the rapid spread of the coronavirus in these areas over the past 14 days.

As for cafes and restaurants, the governorate of Sfax said it was decided to limit themselves to selling only and consuming outside.
