Tunisia-Dams: Water reserves are down 20.3%

The National Observatory of Agriculture (ONAGRI) declared that the water reserves of the dams dropped by 20.3% (-176.949 m3), to 694.276 million cubic meters (m3), as of August 24. , compared to an average of the last 3 years of 871.224 million m3, on the same date.

 

As of today, the distribution of this stock between the central dams indicates that the largest quantities of water are accumulated in the Sidi Salem dam, i.e. 198.857 million m3, with a filling rate of 34 %, then in the dams of Sejnane (65.102 million m3, with a filling rate of 49%), Saad (34.459 million m3, with a filling rate of 26%) and Bouhertma (24.492 million m3, with a filling rate of 22%), said ONAGRI.
