The Tunisian Association for Aid to Victims of Medical Errors disclosed today the reopening of the inquiry into the death of 14 babies at the maternity and pediatric medical centre of Rabta hospital in Tunis from March 6 to 15, 2019.
The first investigations highlighted the contamination of the food presented to the deceased babies by a germ which is of external origin to the service.
According to the results of the analyzes carried out by the medical commission responsible for examining the causes of the death. The motive for the premeditated assassination has been confirmed.
