Tunisia-Death of a protester: Workers’ Party condemns the flagrant violation of human rights

 
 The Workers’ Party condemned the death of Ridha Bouzayen and Chokri Mefteh who passed away due to police violence. According to the press release issued yesterday, the party condemned the flagrant violation of human rights clarifying that these practices comprise State crimes while rejecting the acts of violence and repression exercised against the protesters.
 
The party called on the Minister of the Interior, the prime minister and the President of the Republic to assume their responsibility for what occurred on January 14 on the sidelines of the organized protests. It likewise called for the opening of an investigation to take the required measures against all those involved. “We call on all political, civil and social forces to battle against the tyranny and the violation of rights,” reads the same press release.
