The man who had been wounded by a firearm by a customs agent passed away in the hospital.
As a reminder, a confrontation took place in the Passage district, between customs guard agents and citizens called in reinforcement by an individual whose agents wanted to seize the goods suspected of being of a counter brand.
The confrontation worsened when the citizens called in reinforcement attacked the agents with stones. One of the agents was seriously injured in the head in this attack.
Another agent, being surrounded by the attackers and feeling in danger, used his weapon by firing two bullets.
Unfortunately, one of the bullets hit the goods’ owner in the shoulder. Led urgently to Charles Nicolle hospital, he died shortly after.
