Samir Dilou believed that there are several similarities between president of the republic Kaïs Saïed and the Sri Lankan president, Gotabaya Rajapaksa.
In apost status published on his official Facebook page, Dilou estimated that the two leaders had also dissolved parliament and likewise announced a state of exception. He further clarified that the only difference between the two was: the non-nomination of Kaïs Saïed’s brother to the post of prime minister.
