Nissaf Ben Alaya, Executive Director of the National Observatory of Emerging and New Diseases, has been elected as a member of the Lancet COVID-19 Commission at Columbia University, the observatory announced in a declaration.
Started last September, the Lancet Commission is operating to support the efforts of governments, civil society and UN institutions in the battle against the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.
